Officer Safety Academy LLC

Officer Safety Academy LLC (OSA) was formed in 2015 to provide Physical Tactics training to Police Officers, Confinement Officers, and Public Service Professionals.  OSA is a provider for the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy where qualified instructors can add the Psycho Motor element to their certification after successful completion of the OSA Physical Tactics Instructor Course.  OSA instructors have many years of training experience including training officers from local, county, and state agencies.  Like our page on Facebook at Officer Safety Academy LLC.

The curriculum for OSA courses includes real-world proven techniques from the traditional Martial Arts of TaeKwonDo and Ryukyu Kempo as well as JuJitsu and Hapkido.  Areas trained in these classes include:

-        Relevant Use of Force Case Law and Issues

-        Attitude and Mind Set

-        Movement, Balance, and Strength

-        Stance, Position, and Tactical Breathing

-        Effective Joint Locks

-        Combat Striking and Blocking Techniques

-        Effective Ground Techniques

-        Takedowns and Escaping

-        Handcuffing

-        Edged Weapons Defensive Techniques

-        Firearm Retention and Takeaway Techniques

-        Pressure Point Techniques and Use are Incorporated Throughout the Courses

-        Report Writing and Record Keeping
